Beloved,
One reason you must have control over your life is because anywhere if you are not in control, someone else is. There are spiritual enemies contending for the control of everything God gave you the capacity to manage. Just as with leadership in general, there will always be someone or something that wants to usurp your authority.
You must be able to stand and remain in control of yourself and everything that has to do with you. You cannot afford to be passive, especially where your destiny is involved. For example, I tell my members, “Beware of demonically arranged, legitimate excuses”. Always have it in mind that the devil will take every chance he can to supply you with opportunities that give him an advantage.
Don’t develop a habit of blaming. I decided a while ago that never again would I report failure to anyone. I am responsible. I challenge my leaders to be the same way. Don’t abdicate the responsibility God has given you to manage yourself.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
