Luke 22:31 TPT
And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.
Hebrews 10:25 TPT
This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.
1 Peter 5:8 TPT
Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour.
Beloved,
The antics of the devil are not new because he uses the same play book time and time again. The devil first isolates the believer from his destiny team, then tempts him concerning that which he is attached to emotionally, before pouncing and going for the kill. We must remain vigilant as we practice our Christian walk daily and develop spiritual muscles to resist the devil.
Just as the lion looks for a sheep that is by itself and not part of a flock to attack, our enemy, the devil, looks for a believer that is lukewarm and not tethered to a spiritual house to devour. A believer who is not activity pursuing destiny work, who only attends church when it’s convenient, can easily fall prey to the devil.
You must make a commitment today to create time for the things of God, things of destiny, and for the people God has placed in your life that hold you accountable. It is a lie of the devil to believe you can get by alone in the journey of your destiny, doing what you feel like, when you feel like it. The kingdom of God is a system and like all systems, there are principles you and I must work to get results and be profitable. I enjoin you to not despise the gathering of believers that is charged with nourishing your soul and keeping you on the narrow path that leads to life.
Do not fall for the antics of the devil; refuse to be a tool in his hands.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
