Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
Beloved,
When must you inquire into the meaning of things? One of the times is when there is struggle in your heart. Consider Genesis 25:22-23:
[22] But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?” So she went to inquire of the LORD. [23] And the LORD said to her: “Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.

We can see here that Rebecca knew something strange was happening in her body and the revelation she received eventually was critical to how she must make decisions in the future. Beloved, when you notice things are going strangely for you or inside of you, learn to ask why. Take time to seek God’s face about the matter.
