I Corinthians 3:10
According to the grace of God, which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.
Beloved,
You need depth more than height. As time goes on, you shouldn’t be interested in heights that much. You shouldn’t be so interested in how people perceive you. Transition to seeking after depth, where people compose themselves to listen simply because you are the one speaking.
Words of wisdom are a product of depth. When you desire to be seen and acknowledged by people, you are after height. The truth is this, height makes no difference when depth is not solid and firm. Height only matters when the depth is intact. What determines the longevity of anything under the sun is the depth not the height.
You need direction more than speed, because accuracy and precision will get you to your desired destination more than speed without purpose would.
You need the expedient more than the lawful. It is crucial to be able to identify and separate the lawful from the expedient. You are not allowed to do anything you choose because not everything causes spiritual advancement in you or others.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
