DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Hebrews 2:14

14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Beloved,

The devil is already defeated. Don’t allow him or anyone else to show or tell you otherwise. While it is true that in times of spiritual warfare you must fight, you are not fighting to gain the victory. You are fighting to defend it. The battle is already won. Hallelujah! Learn to respond to the devil and demonic activity as that which is already destined to fail wherever it concerns you.

The Bible says,

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

2 Corinthians 2:14

When it seems like the devil is winning in your life, you must first of all declare what the Bible has already said concerning  you. God has already caused you to triumph! Walk accordingly. You must also beware of the ways in which the devil can try to wreak havoc in your life. If you are operating according to the covenant you have with God, you are walking in safety and authority. But beware of  the following danger zones as they give the devil an advantage in your life:

  1. Acts of perpetual disobedience (1 Kings 11:14; 23; 25).
  2. Vulnerability (Ephesians 4:27).
  3. Pursuit of greater purpose (Nehemiah).
  4. Emptiness of heart (Luke 11:24-26).

We will expound on these in the days ahead. I call you blessed and nations.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
