Nehemiah 6:3 NKJV
“So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?””
Beloved,
It’s important you know your purpose in life. If you have yet to discover why God has placed you on the earth and what you must accomplish before you leave this side of eternity, then make it your priority to find out. Know what is most important to your life and destiny and FACE IT! When you don’t know your purpose, then you will not have a focus. When that happens, Satan can easily distract you with what will waste your time and then it’s only a matter of time before he has robbed you of your entire destiny.
Consider Nehemiah. Chapter 6 sheds light on so many means and ways the devil tried to stop his work. But Nehemiah had a clear purpose and a prophecy that told him that Satan was already defeated.
The devil will use everything from fear, to false accusations, to bringing you neatly packaged, demonically arranged “legitimate” excuses to keep you distracted. But when you choose to remain in God’s presence and go along with His plan for your life as you pursue purpose, it will be easy to spot the devil and dismiss him as the defeated foe that he is.
Beloved your purpose is greater than anything the devil can bring your way. Pursue it.
