1 Corinthians 4:17
For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.
Beloved,
God uses revelation and repetition to help establish us in the ways of His Kingdom. What is revelation? Revelation is enlightenment or the illumination of God’s word, will and aspects of His personality to us. Instantly, we gain understanding where things were once dark or hidden. When we have been in the dark about something and, suddenly, a light is shed on it and our minds are opened to it, then we can say that we’ve had a revelation about that matter.
Revelation brings excitement and a feeling of distinction. However, revelation, on its own, does not change anything. You must take your time to fully understand the revelation you’ve received through the Holy Spirit and know what it means for you. For instance, if an inventor comes up with an invention, everyone might become very excited about it, but that invention will not be beneficial to us until we gain a mastery of how it works and how it can benefit us. This is where repetition comes in. We will discuss this further in part two of this series.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
