Proverbs 26:11 TPT
[11] Fools are famous for repeating their errors, like dogs are known to return to their vomit.
2 Corinthians 2:10-11 NKJV
[10] Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, [11] lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Beloved,
It’s not just important that you have knowledge, you must use the knowledge that you have rightly.
Knowledge is powerful. Lack of it destroys. But wrong application of it can also be just as dangerous. Imagine someone who plucks his eye out because he thinks the Bible says so. That is wrong interpretation and application of knowledge. The example sounds extreme but it describes the life of many people.
I learned early in life that wisdom is right application of knowledge and that is true. I’ve seen how people who know so much end up with little or no result because they could not apply the knowledge. The truth is that life does not reward you for what you know, life rewards you for how you’re able to rightly apply the knowledge you have to situations.
For you to be able to rightly apply knowledge, work on your interpretation skills. See situations differently and be diligent to make a thorough search for the kind of knowledge that best suits each situation.
Exposing the Devices of the devil
Proverbs 26:11 TPT
[11] Fools are famous for repeating their errors, like dogs are known to return to their vomit.
2 Corinthians 2:10-11 NKJV
[10] Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, [11] lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
The devil has plans and is deliberate about accomplishing them. For an unbeliever, his assignment is to keep them from giving their life to Jesus. If the devil cannot keep you from giving your life to Jesus, He wants to keep you being a nominal believer. If not, He wants to keep you doing everything except activities that would lead to the fulfillment of your purpose on the earth. His plans for believers is to steal, to kill, and to destroy
The devices of the devil hide in darkness. The manifestations of darkness includes
1. Ignorance
2. Isolation and Separation
3. Lack of leadership
4. Offense
Matthew 18:7 NKJV
[7] Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
Do not allow any of these manifestations of darkness and any device of the devil in your life and home.
