Joshua 8:1
And the LORD said to Joshua, ‘Do not fear and do not be dismayed. Take all the fighting men with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, and his people, his city, and his land.’ “
Beloved,
Let your goal in life be to live life without restrictions. Don’t limit yourself! God has so much in store for you. It’s there and prepared, you only need to arise and take it!
Last time, we talked about ignorance being a barrier to true freedom. Today, I want to talk to you about fear. Fear is another thing that can keep a person in bondage.
Fear is there when faith is not and it can keep you immobilized and imprisoned by irrational, unscriptural beliefs. Fear can surely enter into any Christian’s life who remains ignorant to the power they carry. If you are a true believer, you are automatically equipped with authority and every tool you need to overcome sin and any other obstacle that comes your way.
Be aware, that fear can also come into play when you are not sure about what and who you are really fighting. See what the Lord told Joshua in the scripture above. Arise and fight! Don’t fear, for your enemies are already defeated! If you know the devil is already a defeated foe, there’s no how you can be afraid enough to fall for any of his lies.
Beloved, be alert and fear not! When you’re alert, you’ll be less afraid. You can move forward and allow the chains to fall from your brain. So I implore you, arise and fear not!
