Isaiah 50:4-5
The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning; He awakens My ear to hear as the learned. The Lord God has opened My ear; and I was not rebellious.
Beloved,
Finally, I will be showing you how to be awake and aware.
First, be born again, John 3:1-7. Jesus must not only be your Savior, He must also be the Lord of your life.
Train your spirit, 1 Timothy 4:7-8. Expose your spirit to the spiritual diet that will make it grow. Expose your spirit also to activities that make you sensitive to divine communications. Activities such as:
o Constant exposure to the word of God.
o Praying in the spirit.
o Picking up assignments in your local church.
o Worshipping in spirit and in truth.
Guard against activities that leads to a conflict between your spirit and your flesh, Galatians 5:16-17. Identify things that roughens your spirit and when you feel that discomfort, stop that activity that is causing that discomfort. In addition to this, avoid being in the following state:
o State of fear
o State of being confused
o State of being overwhelmed, Psalm 43:3-4.
Lastly, be a functional member of a church whose candlelight is bright before the Lord. And constantly check with your spirit that the church remains a living church, Hebrews 10:25, Psalm 73:16-17.
I commend you to God and the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
