“So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose?…”.
Beloved,
If you have accepted the gift of salvation from Jesus Christ and if you have declared Him your Lord and Savior, then congratulations, you win! In every circumstance and come what may, your victory is guaranteed through Christ Jesus.
But why then do we as believers sometimes find ourselves down and at the edge of failure? Why are so many Christians losing battles to sin and experiences that can only be described as demonic? Why are some Christians losing their jobs, their families, their minds?
One thing you must know is that when such experiences arise in the life of a believer, it is not because God is unfaithful. He is not a liar and He never changed His mind about your redemption. God has proven already that He will give His life to save you and He already defeated Satan at the cross. So His love for you and His power have not changed. They are sure and so is His word.
God gave the best that could ever be given to human race – Jesus, His Son and Himself. He is willing to give any and everything for you to win. He is Jehovah Jireh and His provisions for you are sure.
The only thing that could be missing in all those cases of believers that we talked about earlier on is their awareness of, genuine belief in, and application of all of those winning agents that came with their salvation.
I preached a message to my members some time ago about our Redemption Advantage Package and in that message I share about all the benefits that come with our salvation that we often forget to use.
Beloved, when you find yourself in a situation that is inconsistent with God’s promise of victory in your life, don’t accept it! Don’t allow life to beat you down.
Any person or situation that rises up against you or your destiny is coming against God. God is always and forever on your side! As long as you abide in His love and His will, you are in the safest place in the universe! God does not joke about His children. No one can come to harm you and live to tell the story. You are protected by His glory. That the situation appears obscure is not relevant. That the giant appears bigger than you is not relevant. None of it compares to God’s love and the lengths He is ready to go to show you.
Jesus is in heaven making intercession for you right now! His love for you cannot be altered.
These are the major reasons why you cannot fail IF you keep your part of the covenant terms. We will talk about the terms next time.
