Leviticus 10:8-11
Then the Lord spoke to Aaron, saying: “Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean, and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.”
Beloved,
In dealing with God’s anointed in the secular world, you must also treat them differently than you would another person. Treat them with honor and respect when you are dealing with them. Put a difference and put that honor because God recognizes that. Don’t erase the line between the holy and the common in terms of the anointed, be it human, items in the house of God, the church, the church building and premises, and your assignment.
When it has to do with divine assignment, put a difference. Let your attitude be different and you will be amazed at the honor that God will bring into your life. God takes it personally when it comes to His possessions. Anyone who treats the things of God in a common way, God treats them lightly. The way you treat God’s things is the way He treats you and your things.
Consider Ananias and Sapphira. There was a move of God that saw people like Barnabas selling his lands and laying the money at the Apostles feet. Ananias and Sapphira did not know that it was a move of God, they thought it was natural. They did what they did and died in church one after the other, and the service continued.
In other words, these two people were weightless before God. Never be that. Do your assignment in such a way that because of you, God will respond. God will have to do something when it comes to your matter. Let that be you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will tutor us to honor the Lord and to honor the sacred.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
