The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding has all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.
Beloved,
As a worker and a steward in God’s vineyard, you must allow the fear of the Lord to rest upon you. Two forces that God put in the church which we must build is attitude and consciousness; these can also be interpreted as the fear of God and the comfort of the Holy Ghost.
The end time church is running like a one-legged giant and that is why we are a bit weak in the spirit. We’re running on the one leg of the comfort of the Holy Ghost and that’s what leads to problems. If you look at the acts of the apostles, they also experienced what we are experiencing now. They were enjoying the comfort of the Holy Ghost; they were expanding and people were joining them. But there was nobody to put them into the awareness that although it is the Holy Ghost who brings you into sonship, He also teaches you how to function with your Father. Then the story of Ananias and Saphira happened and the fear of the Lord rested on them.
Beloved, the fear of the Lord will teach you how to honor God appropriately. There is no way God can refuse the one who approaches with honor. God can bypass a million people and touch the one with a posture of honor.
