3 John 2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of you being strong. It is important to also know that the difference between wisdom and smartness is the fear of the Lord. A man that is very smart but does not fear God is not wise. Such person is only filled with knowledge that puffs up, but there is no way you will touch wisdom and not have the fear of the Lord. It is easy to recognize a man that has many achievements but lacks the fear of the Lord. Such person is known by the pride and arrogance he exhibits in words and in action. Such a man will hold everything to the standard of his own intelligence and that is not only a limitation but also foolishness.
Some may argue that some people don’t pray yet they are among the richest in the world. The answer to this is that the Bible makes us to understand that there are two mandates for man on the earth – the Adamic mandate and the Jesus mandate.
The Adamic mandate is for every human being created by God and born of a man and a woman. It is to dominate the earth, to subdue it, and to conquer it. You don’t have to be born again to participate in the Adamic mandate. The Adamic mandate is the one that has to do with earthly wealth and success, and with dominion on the earth.
The Jesus mandate is the mandate that has to do with eternity. The Adamic mandate has to do with the body of man and the soul of man. But the Jesus mandate has to do with the tripartite being of man: the spirit, the soul, and the body. The Adamic mandate does not touch the spirit. Under the Adamic mandate you can become the president of a country or be the wealthiest man on the earth. Yet if you are not born again, once you step across the divide of time and eternity, the Adamic mandate reduces to zero. The plan of God for you beloved is to prosper in all things, and to fulfil destiny under both the Adamic and the Jesus mandates.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
