Jeremiah 4:22
For My people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are silly children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
Beloved,
God is working on your understanding and your revelation of Him. Because whatever God wants to do for you, with you, and through you, it always starts with you having a correct view of Him. Your greatest wealth on the earth is your revelation of God. The Bible says the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. It is a weak position to have a million dollars with a small vision of God.
David could confront the giant, Goliath because he had a vision of God that was correct. He didn’t have weapons, but he had a revelation. God gives you a view of Himself, not a view of your problems or your lack, not a view of your resources or your enemy. Most of the time we are confronted with our disability or even our ability, yet when God steps into your life, neither disability nor your ability makes a difference.
It is very important for you to understand this. To better conceptualize this, imagine that you are going up to a building that is 20 stories high and you are climbing the stairs, your physical condition will matter. The person who is out of shape will be panting by the time he gets up there. But if you go up by an elevator, your physical condition does not matter; the elevator will carry you. Therefore, a correct revelation of God let’s you know that nothing can stop you if the Lord is on your side.
