Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Beloved,
The law of newness encourages you to put your past where it belongs if you want to do well in life. Put the past that will hinder your future behind you. The past I am talking about includes the negative experiences that drags you down when you remember. You even have to put some positive experiences behind you so you can reach out for more. Don’t dwell on that accomplishment; celebrate it and press on for more. Leave them behind and move on to new experiences that will open you up to the unknown side of your life.
Luke 5:37,39 ERV
³⁷Also, no one ever pours new wine into old wineskins. The new wine would break them. The wine would spill out, and the wineskins would be ruined. ³⁹No one who drinks old wine wants new wine. They say, ‘The old wine is just fine.’”
Change your attitude, bring new vision and new thinking. You cannot put new wine into an old wineskin. This means that combining old mindsets with new vision will lead to loss of confidence. Stretch yourself to new thinking and take on new projects in the coming year. Educate yourself and write things down, especially action steps to guide and motivate you in days to come.
