Hebrews 2:8-9
You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Beloved,
I began to teach you yesterday that there is what should be your reality as God designed it and there is also your current reality. But it will take the wisdom of God to help you bridge that gap in the coming year.
To successfully bridge that gap in 2023, the first thing you must ensure is found in Genesis 17:1. It is to walk habitually before God while being blameless and sincere. The Bible is replete with stories of people who were given the blueprints of their lives; but at the time they received that blueprint, nothing in their lives pointed to the vision of God for them. But the ones who walked before God in integrity and sincerity eventually became the picture of the future that God showed to them. As you go into 2023, all that God is asking for is sincerity, obedience, worship, and compliance. Don’t let anything move you out of the presence and the will of God for your life and you will soon discover that the gap between what is and what must be will begin to greatly reduce.
You must also be covenant compliant to bridge the gap, Genesis 17:1-8. We lay great emphasis on covenants in this KPC nation because we understand the power of covenant. The Lord gave His covenant to Abraham to power and bring to fulfillment the promises of God to him. Spiritual intelligence that governs the future shows that life will happen on the strength of covenant. The instruction of God for Abraham and the men in his household to be circumcised is a prototype of consecration.
To enter into covenant with God, there must be a sacrifice. This is why we take communion to remember and join ourselves to the sacrifice of Christ. Another way into covenant is to convert your stewardship to sacrificial services. Nehemiah told God all he did to ensure that the wall of Jerusalem was rebuilt and in praying, he prayed that all these things will come up as a memorial before God.
Beloved, walk habitually in sincerity before God and be covenant compliant and you will soon shorten the gap between what is and what must be.
I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
