Hebrews 2:8-9
You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Beloved,
To bridge the gap between where you are now and where you must be in this year, you must put in the required amount of work. There are people who go about without putting any work to life. Some are doing less work than is required while some are doing wrong work. You need to not only do the right work, you must put the necessary amount of time to the work. The right work will quickly bridge the gap between what is and what must be. One of the biggest demonstrations of foolishness is expecting God to do what you should do and you thinking you have what it takes to do the work of God.
The Bible says God will bless the works of your hands. When you work less, what God will bless will be less and the multiplication of that blessing will also be less. God’s instruction to Abraham is also applicable to us here and now: from where you are, look upward and begin to move by taking steps in the right direction. Prepare to go through the process until you get to the end point. Noah used 120 years to build the ark. It took him 120 years to move from prophecy to manifestation, but he did not allow himself to be distracted by the naysayers and by failure.
Beloved, you will also need the ministry of men in your life to close the gap between what is and what must be, Psalm 108:10 (AMP). You need someone to direct you to that desired place. God sent Joseph ahead of his brothers to preserve them. To truly figure things out all by yourself is very hard and time wasting. But there are some people that have what you need in life. May you recognize them when you see them and may you walk in favor with them. It is when you have this experience that you will never pride yourself as a self-made man. We are who we are by the ministry of men and the grace of God. When Moses prayed for Judah in Deuteronomy 33:7, he first gave him the blessing of access, and next he prayed that God will bring him to his own people. Meaning that next to God, the right association is paramount in one’s life. May you carry this impartation in 2023.
Beloved, ask the Lord who must play their role in your life. If they are not yet born again but they must play a role in your life, then trust God to develop your spirit to be stronger than theirs. This is so that the negative flows from their lives will not flow into your own life.
