Luke 19:41-42
Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
Beloved,
To qualify for a platform given by God, you will have to go through His divine process. But there are vital things to take note of if you will not abort that divine process.
Personal ambition. If you have a personal motive that is outside of the program of God, you will abort process. It takes selflessness to seek the progress of someone else. Scripture gave the account of Absalom and Joab, they both had personal ambition and they didn’t come to a good end eventually. Steer clear from selfish ambition.
Placing more priority on the reward than the process. This means you are letting the thought of the destination keep you from engaging in the process. Gehazi aborted his process because he was greedy for reward and missed out on what could have been a transfer of mantle from Elisha to him.
Wrong mirror, wrong timing, wrong people, wrong counsel. What motivates you and what or who do you pattern your life after? Divine process must support divine mandate so as to birth divine product. Sometimes we make the right move at the wrong time, and this will abort the process. When you listen to wrong counsel your process will suffer, so you must regularly examine the body of knowledge you are running your life with. Who are you listening to?
Unteachability. A key indicator of a successful process is that you learn from it. Be teachable and determine to learn from your processes. Learn from you successes and your mistakes.
I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
