Joshua 3:5
And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”
Beloved,
To secure your future, you need to develop a vision for the future. Vision is a system of living in the future before it comes. You can be aware of the future but not have a vision for it. The sons of the prophet were aware of the future, but they had neither a vision nor a plan for it, unlike Elisha. Ruth is another character in the Bible who had a vision for the future. Don’t leave your tomorrow open. Man dies when there is nothing to live for. You must aspire and have visions and goals that you’re pursuing.
The vision for your future may be directly communicated to you by God. It may generated by the interaction of your regenerated spirit with the Spirit of God. It may also come by prophecy. The vision will be birthed from your prophecies and divine moments in life. Profit from your divine moments and appointments. Meditate on your prophecies and paint a picture for the future; don’t let that prophecy die.
Your vision requires the following:
- Eyes of the future
- The word of God
- A father’s eyes – the eyes of one who is a father over you.
- Watchmen eyes – in prayer and meditation.
- Inner eyes – a knowing by the spirit.
Blessed are those that have the eyes of the future, they will never walk in darkness. All of these put together will be the foundation that will prepare and launch you into your tomorrow. Your wisdom is to know where God has prepared for you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
