Exodus 24:4
Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. Then he arose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.
Beloved,
For anything to be unshakeable, it must anchored. Anything that is not anchored at all or not anchored properly can be easily moved. If you are a child of God, you must know that His kingdom is indeed UNSHAKEABLE! What makes it to be so is what we will call, in this series, “pillars”. Pillars are the structures responsible for providing reliable, essential support to anything that will stand and withstand the test of time and seasons.
Now, the Kingdom of God has always existed, but scripture tells us that it must be “…on earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10). The question is this: how can the Kingdom withstand this ever changing world where it seems the devil is reigning more and more in the affairs of men? The only way it can be so, and the reason God demands it to be so and charges us to pray accordingly is simple: it’s pillars are solid. They are not ordinary structures. The pillars of God’s Kingdom were established before the foundations of time. As God has alway and will always exist, these pillars have been designed and ordained to ensure that God’s will remain forever and everywhere. What are these essential pillars?
- Jesus
- The word of God
- Prayer
- The Holy Spirit
- Love
- Grace
- The church
These pillars work as an operating system. They must ALL be present and at work. All of them working together, deeply anchored, are the stability and durability of His glorious kingdom. If the kingdom of God will work in your life, these pillars must anchor your life. We will go through them one by one over the next few days. For now, take a look. Begin to reflect. Are these established in your life? Are you established in each of them?
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
