Luke 1:34-35 NKJV
Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
Beloved,
Still on the topic of how to enjoy divine encounter. We have established that God does not bypass the responsible, especially when it comes to divine encounter. One thing that responsibility helps a man to do is to give attention to areas that matter most. What are you giving your attention to? If Moses was not tending to the flocks consistently, there is no how he would recognize the change in atmosphere with respect to the burning bush. Attention is critical when it comes to the workings of faith. You can never say that you have faith for something, yet you remain passive or unintentional as far as what you have faith for. Give attention to God’s word concerning matters. Give attention to stewardship responsibilities, especially those given to you directly from God as divine assignment or from the man of God He has placed in your life to shepherd you. Don’t take such assignments lightly. Make it a sincere priority to give it your full attention and trust that God will do the same for you.
Another thing you must be sure to do is clarify. When God speaks to you, praise His holy name! You can’t afford to waste divine communication. Write it down and don’t forget as I always tell my sons and daughters in destiny. And please, seek clarification. We can’t afford to get spiritual things wrong. Ask intelligent questions.
The Bible says,
James 1:5-8 NIV
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
We have many examples in scripture where if God’s chosen did not ask, they would not have received critical instructions necessary for their destiny fulfillment. Beloved, don’t ask God questions from a place of doubt like Zacharias did, Luke 1:18-20. Ask in faith and trust God to give you an answer of peace. Trust that He loves to communicate with you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
