Psalm 3:1-3 NKJV
Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. 2Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” 3But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.
Beloved,
Life can get a person to a point where their conclusion is that they are completely helpless. It is a ploy of the devil to break a man down to gain access to his life. The state of helplessness is a state of hopelessness. Helplessness is a feeling that is a response to chronic fear and a reflection of the failure of the heart.
When a man puts his trust in man, it is inevitable that he feels helpless and disappointed, Jeremiah 17:5. Look beyond man for the provisions of God for He has more than one way to meet just one need. When you feel helpless be open to divine intervention and the ministry of the prophetic. The awareness of God, His willingness to help, and persistent prayer will break the bonds of helplessness.
Beloved, when you notice symptoms of helplessness such as withdrawal from brethren and unhealthy attachment to men (i.e., being at the mercy of men) in your life, take steps to break the yoke. First, go for deliverance and open yourself to divine intervention. Then, separate yourself unto the ministry of the word of God by reawakening your knowledge of God and His power, by renewing your mind, and by building your faith in God.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
