Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
Beloved,
There is a level of pride and arrogance that comes with pentecostalism which propagates ignorance and perpetuates evil amidst of many so-called believers.
For instance, an average believer believes that every failure is caused by the devil. Yes! A good number of failures is caused by the devil, but not all. When we believe that every problem is caused by the devil we will not take adequate responsibility to guard against subsequent occurrences.
The truth is that while failure (especially consistent failure) in a pursuit may be a reflection of the attack of the devil, it also may be (and in fact it most likely is) a reflection of the fact that you are in a wrong pursuit, or you are incompetent. If either of these is the case, it needs to be addressed.
So, we should be humble enough to learn through our failures and take adequate corrective decisions in that regards. Failure to see failure in its true form is a set up for perpetual failures.
