Eph 2:14
For himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.
Jesus is our peace. You can be at peace during troubled and turbulent times when you have the right understanding. Jesus implores us to not let our hearts be troubled and to believe in Him. The closer you draw to Jesus, the more your understanding of him grows. When a problem arises- the devil goes to work to rob you of your peace by introducing fear. Faith cannot be present in the atmosphere of fear, so stand your ground and do not yield to the devil.
Peace is forceful and contains contentment, patience and calmness. The things of God confound the world around us. You and I are called to die to self in order to live forever; called to give away to receive much more; commanded to give praises in the face of challenges. It is in these things that we shame the devil, glorify the father, and guarantee our victories. You and I must not let the things of the kingdom seem stupid to us. God’s kingdom is a system- you and I must work it to get results.
Jesus- the prince of peace wants us to have peace in abundance and does not want you to be troubled or afraid. The peace that God gives cannot be compared to the peace the world offers. Worldly peace is temporary and contingent on circumstances that can change anytime while the peace of God is absolute and renewed every time we come into his presence. As a child of God, you already have the victory over the devil. You ought to believe this and start exercising your power. Will you practice this going forward? Carry the presence of God with you and bring Him into every situation. Get in the habit of speaking His words out loud, give Him praise at all times and watch the God of peace crush the devil before you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
