DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

‭‭‭‭‭‭Habakkuk‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.

Beloved,
Another internal component of a born-again man is faith. Every believer must have genuine faith in the Lord. Every believer has the same spirit of faith but at different measures. The use of faith is also different in each believer; that is why manifestations are different.

If you are going to enjoy everything of God, it must be by faith. Faith is the hand that receives from God. The fulfillment of God’s promise to everyone will be by faith. Faith is an equalizer. This means that the rich does not have an advantage over the poor, or the old over young. What qualifies anyone for the fulfillment of their promise as gotten from God’s word is their faith.

For a promise to become your reality, you must be persuaded. Persuasion is a fulcrum between God’s promise and the performance of it. For you to practically deploy your faith, the key is to be persuaded. Promise is the sole responsibility of God. Persuasion is the sole responsibility of man. Performance is the responsibility of God and man. If you can do your part, God has already given his promise and He is committed to doing His part.

How then can you get to the point of being fully persuaded, not being half persuaded? To be fully persuaded, you must have knowledge – about God, the promise He gave, His power that makes the promise come true, and His reputation and credibility. Your knowledge about the One who gave the promise largely determines your persuasion.

Your job is to work on your persuasion. Glean wisdom from the account of Abraham’s faith in Romans 4. Work on your knowledge of God and the knowledge of his promise to you.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
