Jeremiah 2:20-21 NKJV
[20] “For of old I have broken your yoke and burst your bonds; And you said, ‘I will not transgress,’ When on every high hill and under every green tree You lay down, playing the harlot. [21] Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a seed of highest quality. How then have you turned before Me Into the degenerate plant of an alien vine?
Beloved,
You are a seed of the highest quality. Be aware that you are destined for greatness. While there is a seed of greatness inside every believer, it is sad to say that a lot of do not develop that seed.
Walk in the consciousness of your greatness. Not only must you have an awareness of greatness, you must be aware of the instructions that accompany your greatness, Judges 13:12. Your destiny must have some rule or work to guide it. Know it and abide by it.
Clear the path of greatness for yourself by straightening your habits and your lifestyle, Isaiah 62:10. On the road of destiny, you must clear off offenses. Joseph had every right to be offended at his brothers for selling him into slavery, but he chose to see the hand of God behind all that happened, Genesis 45:7. He did not allow offense to hinder his greatness.
Also, as you nurture the seed of greatness in you, you must clear out activities that cluster your mind. As you seek to nurture the seed of greatness, the state and health of your mind is of great importance. This is because it is the ground upon which that seed will be planted. Allow nothing to roughen your mind. Do not feed your mind with perversion. Feed your mind with the right things, especially the word of God. Then, the seed of greatness in you will yield bountifully.
