Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMP
He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.
Beloved,
Today, I want to remind you of the urgency of your destiny, I want to awaken your sense of destiny. It is possible for a man to live and seemingly accomplish so much, without fulfilling the most important reason for his existence. How tragic that would be! This will not be your portion in Jesus’ name. If this will not be your portion, then you must discover and start pursuing destiny.
In Judges 6, we see how Gideon received and started pursuing his mandate. At a time when his people were being oppressed, he cared enough to ask questions about why thing were they way they were. That was his destiny calling him. What is driving you? Life is more than living just to pay bills.
Moses in Exodus 3 did not miss God in the burning bush, he turned aside. People awaken destiny by the ability to be inquisitive, the ability to ask critical questions. Why is God giving you those visions even when you are not doing serious spiritual work? Why do you have passion for children, the homeless, orphans, etc.? Destiny is calling, do not miss it. Are you paying attention to the great sight God has been bring over and over.
Destinies manifest differently but are of equal importance. Some people’s destiny is like the head, some like the leg, and some like the intestines, not too be seen yet very essential. The assignment of Moses’ parents was not to deliver the Israelites but to raise the deliverer, and they fulfilled their assignment. They saw something in Moses that made them do everything possible to preserve him, Hebrews 11:23. Are you willing to partner with the person whose destiny is to be world-renowned? Are you willing to be Jesse who will raise the king.
Beloved, the time is now to get serious about the pursuit of your destiny. Don’t be engrossed with the pursuit of your career at the expense of your calling. What have you done that can survive the test of fire? What do you have a heart for? Get involved in the pursuit of that which will be eternally profitable.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
