Job 28:5-6 NIV
The earth, from which food comes,
is transformed below as by fire;
lapis lazuli comes from its rocks,
and its dust contains nuggets of gold.
Beloved,
Your destiny is a gold that you must mine. Just like gold is buried and hidden in the womb of the earth, so also is your destiny hidden somewhere in your heart, or in the spirit. As deliberate effort is put into searching for gold and mining it, so also deliberate effort must be put into searching for, finding out and getting your destiny out to limelight. You have the responsibility to do all you can to get to a point where you are sure of what you want to do with your life, without any element of doubt.
Recently, a statement came so strong on my mind that an adult who cannot categorically communicate what he wants to do with his life is a puzzle that no intelligent person, the devil and even God can solve. You just need to pay every prize you can to get your destiny right.
Now, one thing we noticed is that gold in its raw form is worth little. It must be refined for the debris covering it to be removed. The same way a freshly discovered destiny is still in its raw form; it must go through a refining process for it to be worthwhile and to increase its usefulness.
The next few days, we will be looking at practical ways to mine our destiny.
