Order

Beloved,

The scripture above was written by Apostle Paul in his letter to the Corinthians. I want us to look at another scripture. This one written by Peter, the Apostle:

1 Peter 2:9
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light…”

I want to share another scripture with us:

Revelations 1:5-6
“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

John, the Beloved of our Christ Jesus wrote this one while he was on the Island of Patmos. Please pay close attention to how these three relate to one another. More importantly, the pay attention to how these scriptures must relate to your life and purpose IF you are a child of God. Through the writings to His servants, God communicates the establishment of order to us. More importantly he makes it clear that we are predestined, as His offspring to do the same. These scriptures present us with two important aspects of our born again being:
1. Priesthood
2. Kingship

Beloved, it is imperative we understand that these are not merely poetic titles for us to be emotional about. Rather, they demark the functions we must carry out on this side of eternity. God uniquely and strategically designed the offices of “king” and “priest” as distinguished by power and authority to turn things around in the lives of people and in adverse circumstances. To put order into place is to operate as a king. A ruler is one who issues decrees and commands that will either prevent or dysregulate chaotic and confusing situations.
Are you functioning as king and priest unto God in whatever territories God has placed you in and entrusted to your care? You will know if you are as evidenced by the Godly order that is taking place. One of my favorite words is peace and the definition we use for peace in my home church is “nothing missing. Nothing broken. All is well and in order.” In other words, everything is operating in accordance with God’s design, including you! It is God’s design that you put structures in place, give instruction and that you walk and speak with the authority He has given you and in accordance with His Word. Our God is a God of order, and you must be to. This starts with your willful and zealous obedience to His will and way. Just like Christ, you are to establish His kingdom wherever you are. It’s your inheritance! But first, you must activate the agents of order if you will profit from their manifestation. We will pick it up from here next time.
