“Let all things be done decently and in order.”
Beloved,
Last time we established that it is God’s predestined plan for us to operate as kings and priests on this side of eternity. We understand that as King Jesus our Lord came to bring order, we must emulate accordingly establishing God’s kingdom on the earth wherever He places us. We ended by noting that we must be intentional about activating agents of order if we will effectively bring order and enjoy all the benefits that come with our fulfilment of this God ordained mandate. The Holy Spirit within you, the word of God as revealed in scriptures, and the factor of light that brings Illumination to darkness are the agents of order you must familiarize yourself with promptly if you will fulfill your duty as king and priest.
Genesis 1:1-3 give us a picture of what the life of someone can be like without order. No matter how much the world normalizes it, the truth is that as long as you are living in darkness and without distinction, you are in chaos. It takes light to put things in order. Light is important to release order to any given situation, but it cannot come outside of God’s word. Moreover, the revelation of God’s word is powered by the Holy Spirit. This is why you must contend for light and the ministry of the Holy Spirit as you seek to put order in place. Praying in the Spirit and worshipping your Maker creates an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to move.
