John 4:23
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
Beloved,
In the next few days, we will be learning how to present an acceptable worship to God. The purpose for this teaching is for us to see worship in a new light, in a new dimension. We need to have a better clue as to why we worship, so that our worship will be deeper, born out of greater understanding, with better results, and bring us closer to God in Jesus name.
Just like Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well and had a conversation with her, that is how worship starts most of the time. God will beckon to us to come. You might wake up from sleep with such a nudge in your spirit, or you might be in the washroom and the need to worship or the need to pray comes. That is the Spirit of God beckoning to you to come for a fellowship. Even though Jesus spoke to the woman by the well physically, the Spirit of the Lord is still doing the same thing today, waking us up for fellowship. Worship starts when the Lord beckons to us.
Beloved, although we know that God takes the initiative on His part to reach out to us, don’t excuse yourself by telling yourself that you don’t need to worship until you hear the voice of God or until you know for sure that God is calling you. Every time you have the desire to worship, that is the working of the Holy Spirit within you. Even when you don’t feel like worshipping but there is a realization in your heart that you should connect with your God, that is the working of the Spirit.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
