Isaiah 40:4-5
“Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Beloved,
If you will fulfill your God ordained destiny on this side of eternity, you must identify and fill every gap of life with the divine supply of your loving Father. You can literally tell the gaps in the lives of some people when you meet with them.
For example, there are some people who may enjoy divine ideas or information for God’s people, but they speak crassly. In other instances, a child of God might be wealthy, but struggle with poor attitudes or ability to rightly discern.
“Gaps” are anything that slows us down on our journey in life or anything or experience that is keeping us from fulfilling our divine destiny. These gaps are limitations or deficiencies designed to reduce the speed of our movement in life. If we fail to fill these gaps appropriately, we will find ourselves in a cycle of delay or stagnation. God, in His redemptive plan, has put provisions in place for us to fill the gaps of our lives. Let’s look at some of the gaps a man should be mindful of:
- Needs: Such needs can include a body of knowledge or training, Godly instructions, confidence, more anointing, etc.
- Understanding of Consequences: One must know what is at stake if he or she will prioritize correctly. What is at stake if you don’t achieve a certain skill set? What is at stake if you don’t go to school? Who will suffer if you do not fulfill your destiny in life? What awesome thing will you miss out on if you fail to prepare for or take on your assignment. What about those you were called to impact?
- Your enemy and your enemy’s infiltration: Enemies are often closer in proximity than one realizes. They like to infiltrate while men are sleeping, causing havoc unaware…
- The gap between your spiritual reality and physical reality: You need to know how much faith you need and how to prepare for the spiritual warfare that comes with ever increasing your faith.
The good thing is that these gaps of life can be filled as if they never existed. We will talk more on this next time.
Until then,
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
