Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Beloved,
Indeed, God has made all things beautiful. As you know, we humans have a way of using our personal will and fleshly desires to interfere with God’s plans for our lives. While God has all authority and rules in the affairs of men, He has given man authority on the earth (Genesis 2; Luke 10:19). Let me share this story from scripture with you:
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 NLT
[9] There was a man named Jabez who was more honorable than any of his brothers. His mother named him Jabez because his birth had been so painful. [10] He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.
The mother of Jabez named him so because of her experience during his birth. But Jabez prayed for a different experience. Beloved, as it pertains to destiny, you have what God has written about you ahead of time and you have what you say you have. Prayer is your opportunity to align with the Holy Spirit to get things done on the earth. Jesus Christ made that possible for us (Matthew 28).
Jesus is God’s love fully expressed on earth for us. He is the example of the life God desires for us — an eternal, greater life. Jesus, while on earth, showed us something about destiny. We read in scripture that there is a way He prayed at the entry of his calling and at the exit of it (Luke 22:39-46, NKJV). It is in the place of prayer that you exchange your will for God’s. In prayer, your hold on your own will begins to weaken, and your desire for the will of God becomes stronger.
You will know you are in that season of His will increasing and yours decreasing when it seems as if nothing is working. That is when God wants to process you for destiny. The sad thing is many times that process is aborted because we put our focus on what is not working rather than magnify God, His faithfulness, and the great things He is seeking to do for us and in us and with us in that season.
Beloved, pray a prayer of purity, one that removes misalignment and obstacles that want to exalt itself above God’s will at work in your life.
I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace. I call you BLESSED and NATIONS.
