Luke 23:4 NKJV
So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, ‘I find no fault in this Man,’”
Beloved,
Human beings are naturally prone to making mistakes, a reality that dates back to the fall of the first man. According to Romans 3:23 and numerous other scriptural verses, we are born into a world of sin and have an inherent inclination towards it. John 8:7-9 depicts Jesus’ reaction to the accusers of a woman caught in sin; He reminded them of universal imperfection by stating, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” Confronted with their own flaws, the crowd dispersed, underscoring the human tendency to err. More importantly, this narrative emphasizes the need for self-reflection and repentance, utilizing the gift Christ provided through His death, burial, and resurrection.
It is crucial for us to recognize and repent of our mistakes whenever we realize we are not acting in our best interests, let alone God’s interest. This series will explore how believers can minimize errors by strengthening their spiritual foundations and relying on the Holy Spirit. This journey begins with acknowledging our own flawed tendencies—whether they stem from impulsive decisions, unchecked words, or misaligned priorities—that often lead us astray. Let us start by evaluating our lives: What thoughts dominate your mind? How are your decisions influenced? These reflections lay the groundwork for genuine transformation.
I commend you to God and the Word of His Grace. I call you blessed and nations.
