1 Corinthians 10:23 | Amplified Classic
All things are legitimate [permissible-and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life].
Beloved,
Doubt and fear are two sides of a coin that pollutes faith in a man. No matter how potentially confident you may be, once doubt sets in, it will lead to fear and where fear is, faith is restricted. While God needs an atmosphere of faith to work, the devil needs an atmosphere of fear to work. So, ensure that you eradicate every form of doubt in you.
Offence is another major pollutant, especially for many that carry God’s call upon their lives. Offence is holding on to the wrong someone did to you. It can only also be a negative position you take from the wrong assumption or impression you have about someone. It is a position wherein you refuse to let go of the pain from a conflict.
Finally, let me leave you with this verse of the scripture:
This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.
Acts 24:16
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
