The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe.

Names are powerful. A name is the first thing we give to a newborn. It conveys identify and if you get it right, it can also convey destiny and purpose. Some names tell a story, some give a testimony while some tell us who we are. It is important to get names by the leading of the Holy Spirit before naming your children.
God sent an Angel to Joseph and told him to name the miracle baby that Mary gave birth to Jesus. Jesus- an extraordinary name that is filled with power and might. At the name of Jesus sickness disappear; demons tremble and chains are broken. Yet, many fail to recognize the power or to harness it.
Who is Jesus to you and what names do you know and call him by? Jesus is the ancient of days, the first-born of God, God in the flesh, a consuming fire, the prince of peace, the I am that I am, healer, comforter, deliverer, provider.
The name of Jesus has not lost its power. You must simply rediscover His power for yourself and begin to harness it. You limit yourself when you only know Him as your healer, but forget he is also your provider and sustainer. You serve an eternal father, who nothing is impossible for. Do you know that? Do you believe it? Do you practice it and does your life show it?
