Proverbs 24:27, Amplified Classic
”[Put first things first.] Prepare your work outside and get it ready for yourself in the field; and afterward build your house and establish a home.
Beloved,
One of the signs of a good life is having choices. Nothing leaves a man with a feeling of being in bondage like having no choices. However, the negative side of this is that many choices can make a man overwhelmed and confused if the choices are not well managed. Another negative side to this is that choices if not well managed leads to time wastage. I realized that many people who are quitters in life or who waste time are those that have many choices in life.
We will start getting better with choices we have when we can start prioritizing. Most of the choices we have are good for us but not good enough to be the first thing to do. There are many things many people can be but, they ended up becoming none of them because they do not discern what should be the first and put it first.
My challenge to you today is that you learn to put structure to your life by setting your priority right. Stop leaving your days to chance, lest the devil keeps filling it for you. One way to learn to set your priority right is by writing down your choices and then, take time to analyze each before making your conclusions. As simple as this is, it is very important. If you do not write things down, you will be doing many things with no substantial result.
I pray you yield to this counsel.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
