Exodus 3:3
Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”
Beloved,
One of the benefits of the processes that were completed when we gave our lives to Jesus is that our spirit man which had been dead is made alive. This means that our spirit man is now upgraded to receive instruction from God. One of the ways God communicates with our spirit-man is by sending signals that we can recognize to us. For Moses, he saw the flame of fire amidst the bush, but the bush was not burning. For Peter, Jesus performed the miracle of a net-breaking catch as a signal to catch his attention. Paul saw a great light. The list continues.
God has various forms of signals He sends to us as a divine communication to us to call us up to a higher walk with Him. This signal could also be to give us a heads up about what the devil intends to do. Such was his communication to Cain about the sin that was after him (Genesis 4:7).
Whichever kind of signal it is, God expects us to respond to it. The divine side of it is getting you to be aware of the signal, but the human side is our response. My challenge to you today is to be sensitive to divine signals. Do not ignore the nudging of your conscience. Do not develop a profane attitude to divine signals. Your response to divine signals opens you up to amazing deep sides of your destiny. Take a deep breath. Take a walk away from your busy schedule. Be a student of the events of life. Find out where God is in every matter and welcome to the realm of the mystery with God.
