Deuteronomy 28:13
”And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you 4heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
1 Samuel 17:26
Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”
Beloved,
Many times, it is easier to hide than to be in the limelight. Sometimes, Christians hide under false humility and remains perpetually in obscurity. You are design is to be the head and not the tail. You are to be desired and not rejected. The head gives definition and identify, and that is what you are expected to bring to wherever you find yourself. In addition, the head brings solution. You are a solution provider.
David was aware of his makeup. When he got to the battlefield, he knew that the solution lies with him. He asked the right questions and approached the right people. He was not selfish to keep his strength to himself. He knew that God depends on him to bring help to the Israelites.
Brethren, in the same light, God depends on you to bring answers to those around you. However, you can only do that when you get out of obscurity. Take conscious steps to position yourself rightly. Be aware of who you are and stop speaking defeat like everybody else.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
