Luke 18:6 | The Message
Then the Master said, “Do you hear what that judge, corrupt as he is, is saying? So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?”
Beloved,
There is power in persistence. The world is full of many believers that give up so easily, and if you are one of such, you must work on yourself. There are two major reasons why you need to develop persistence in the place of prayer:
- Sometimes, God wants you to prove to Him that you deserve what you are asking for and really wants it. So, He puts you on a waiting list.
- One major character of the enemy we deal with in the place of prayer is that he is adamant. He does not give up so easily. This places a need for persistence until the desired result is guaranteed.
God needs a persistent faith to do incredible things on the earth. May you be one of such that God can depend on to supply that kind of faith.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
