Proverbs 12:1 NKJV
Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid.
Proverbs 15:10 NKJV
Harsh discipline is for him who forsakes the way, And he who hates correction will die.
Beloved,
We have been looking at the concept of instructions and corrections as they are pertinent to our living on the earth.
The scripture above is direct enough to state that it is stupid to reject correction. Indeed, it is; as one thing that is common to everyone who refuses instructions and corrections is REGRETS!
…When your flesh and your body are consumed, (You will) say: “How I have hated instruction, And my heart despised correction!
Proverbs 5:11-12 NKJV (Emphasis Mine)
The most dreadful part of the consequence which the scripture bluntly talks about is that refusal of correction leads to death.
I encourage you to embrace correction. It is one major commitment of the Father to the son that He loves.
[7] If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? [8] But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. [9] Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
Hebrews 12:7-9 NKJV
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
