Genesis 4:11, 14
“Now you are cursed and banished from the ground…” … “You have banished me from the land and from your presence….”
Matthew 26:26-28
“While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” 27Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins…”
Beloved,
Simply put, a cursed life is a life without God. Genesis 4:11-14 explains this to us as we see God curse Cain for his actions and straight away, Cain understood that he was banned from God’s presence and it was more than he could bear.
It is with this understanding that we graciously embrace the power of communion as a force against curses. Apostle Paul said:
“…That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.”
Philippians 3:10-12, NKJV
He understood well that intimate fellowship with Christ meant an inevitable death to everything that was not of Christ and an abounding of every spiritual blessing that comes with life in Christ Jesus. May you enjoy the power of the fellowship of His Presence for your deliverance, in Jesus’ name.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
