Luke 18:1
“And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint…”
Beloved,
“Men must always pray…”. Jesus tells us in the scripture. But we can see by the long-term outcomes people have that many professed Christians do not follow the counsel of Jesus Christ. There is always one legitimate excuse or the other.
How often is it that men blame their prayerlessness on busyness? You are not busy. You are proud. When you do not pray you are telling God I do not need you. Years ago, the Holy Spirit told me something. He said, “the prayerlessness of today is the lost victory of tomorrow”. You will not lose future victories in Jesus’ mighty name. But for this to be a real in your life, you must take your daily prayer life seriously. It is not optional in the life of a believer.
Beloved, once you do not have a prayer life, it is a matter of time for you become a prey. Do not make yourself prey to the consequences of this world. Talk to God as if you know He can and will answer your prayers.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
