John 11:42
“And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”
Beloved,
It might be that as you are praying, the results do not meet your expectations. Don’t be quick to condemn those results. Beware of people who condemn your results and do not be such a person. Rather than condemn, ask for process. When you have been praying, yet you don’t have results, pray again, but be sure to incorporate the following practices into your prayer life:
- Be clear about the God to whom you are praying and have faith in Him. He can and will withdraw results from you until you have a personal encounter with Him. Remember the three dimensions of God you must know: His person (merciful), His principles and His power. Your understanding of God must build your confidence in Him.
- Be sure your prayers are heavily infused with thanksgiving. This is the principle of Jesus. Don’t be anxious. Pray. Philippians 4:6.
- Come with definite requests. God is an intelligent God. He expects you to talk to Him as an intelligent child. Read John 11:42. There is a difference between praying and complaining.
- Believe that you have received. Then, you will have. Mark 11:24.
- Get rid of doubt and worry. James 1:5-7. Doubt can almost look like faith, that is why it is almost deadlier than worry. People cannot help a doubter because it is hard to know what they believe. Doubt gives way to worry. If you do not doubt, you will not worry. Our lives are too small to believe God is not able.
- Be insistent. Persist. Be patient. Meditate on the word. Fast. Psalm 145:18; Deuteronomy 4:7.
Beloved, take time to meditate on the word of God. Be patient as you continue to wait on the Lord. Fast as needed to ensure what you are praying for lines up with God’s will for your life and with His plans as a whole. Do not stop praying.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
