As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
Beloved,
As you go to church this Sunday, may I ask you the same question that Jesus asked His disciples, “what did you go out to see?”
There are many things we do but we do not take our time to ask or define the purpose behind them. This has made many stop the right things and made others not to put their best to what they do.
I challenge you to define a definite reason to why you attend to church, what do you go to church to do and who do you go to church to see and meet? The answer to these questions will protect you from getting to the slippery side of religion.
