Hosea 8:12 NKJV
I have written for him the great things of My law, But they were considered a strange thing.
Beloved,
Your interpretation of God’s word and His intervention is very important. In my experience in counseling people as a pastor, I have seen how misinterpretation of counsel from God through His servants can damage people’s lives. Sometimes a man without a counsel seems to be better than the one who has a right counsel but decided to reject the counsel because of misinterpretation.
The scripture above says great things (great counsels) of His law and principles were presented, but they were considered (misinterpreted) to be “a strange thing”. Wrong interpretation opens a man up to a wrong spirit. It shuts down the right voice of reasoning and makes him to be left alone to erratic voices.
Today, I encourage to watch how you process information. One of the things to know is that God’s instructions are not to be interpreted but to be obeyed. Another thing is that you must never forget that God loves you and whatever He does is ultimately for your benefit. If this is in your heart, this will help you to receive everything He is bringing to you.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
