Ephesians 4:31
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
Beloved,
People typically become bitter for one of three reasons. One reason is that life has truly treated you roughly. For whatever reason, things are just not working for you. Another cause of bitterness is offense. Let it fester enough, it becomes a root of bitterness. And another reason for bitterness is unmet or unfulfilled destiny. The thought of knowing that there is an entire side of your life crying out for expression, and the guilt and shame of knowing you didn’t complete what you were destined to complete can eat you alive.
Beloved, beware of bitterness. Bitterness poisons your soul. If you let it, it will poison your destiny. In this series we will look more closely at the dangers and risk factors of bitterness. For now, check your life and set your mind to make the changes you need to free yourself from the consequences of bitterness. Pray for a release from bitterness.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
