“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;”
Hebrews 12:14-15 NKJV
Beloved,
As we said before bitterness operates like a poison. It spreads and causes distortion and deterioration. It starts with your senses. And if you don’t have a structure in place to catch it, it will infiltrate your thoughts and tamper with your mind. Once your mind is poisoned, your interpretation of life and experiences will be wrong and small.
Has someone offended you recently? Let it go! Beloved, the person who offended you is not your God. Don’t exalt any thoughts towards them. It is possible to experience offense without becoming offended. People can do you wrong, and you can walk away without becoming bitter. Don’t let someone take over your thoughts to the point they become an idol of bitterness for you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
