Hebrews 3:10 NKJV
Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’
Beloved,
As a pastor, I see this play out a lot, especially at church services. I don’t deceive myself in assuming that everyone sitting down and hearing me preach is hearing me. People may have traveled to their hometown in their hearts while their body is still sitting down.
Now, as innocent as this practice could be, God frowns at it. The verse today states that He was angry at people who did that. The worst thing that could happen to any believer, besides God being silent on them, is God being angry with them. So, I challenge you to be careful of that kind of attitude. I challenge you to check yourself before you enter the house of God and ask Him to remove anything that will keep you from hearing Him through His servants.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
